Lindemann EtaShred ZS metal shredder



The Lindemann Eta®Shred ZS uses a special system featuring a grid-plate arranged above the rotor, through which the shredded metal is discharged.

The scrap is fed in automatically dosed quantities and torn off on the anvil edge, whereby the scrap is reduced in size at the baffle plate edge.


The scrap is compressed further at the baffle plate and grid, and by pieces of scrap that recirculate. The material is then ejected through the openings in the upper grid.

Applications

The Lindemann Eta®Shred ZS uses the latest technology and can easily handle metal scrap such as car bodies, miscellaneous scrap, slabs, light bales, aluminum scrap, electrical appliances, electric motors, and large household appliances without a problem.


Main Features

The Lindemann Eta®Shred ZS is equipped with a top grid and a closed bottom housing, suitable for handling mixed scrap and scrap cars.


Hydraulic rotor locking

Effectively protects the core piece of the machine from unshreddable materials. Damage to the rotor can be reduced by moving the rotor out of the way, depending on force vector and load. The correct rotor position is monitored by a proximity switch and if it is deflected, the material feed is switched off.




Hydraulic tilting housing

For maintenance works the center part can tilt hydraulically, along with the top housing and the rotor, if required.




Hydraulic top grid cover

The hydraulic cover of the top grid is for producing different scrap densities, allowing more shredding applications, such as the processing of cooling scrap and aluminum. No more time-consuming grid changeovers necessary.




Ejection door for coarse pieces

Coarse pieces that cannot be shredded are ejected through the hydraulically operated ejection door without interrupting the production process.


Hydraulic anvil clamping device

The hydraulic anvil clamping device eliminates the need to regularly check and tighten anvil screws, which tend to loosen due to the impact stress.



Rotor lifting device

The rotor can be lifted together with center part and top housing of the shredder. The grid and wear parts in the bottom housing are then easily accessible for maintenance.


Rotor with long-life caps

As a standard, the shredder is equipped with a disc rotor with long-life caps.
